A nice February day and the largest crowd ever was on hand for the annual Overmiller Gelbvieh and Red Angus Production Sale. The high selling Gelbvieh and Balancer® bulls were as follows.
Lot 33: A double black 63 percent son of 3G EZ Money found many admires and was the first bull to bring $8,500. He was selected by John Oswald and Sons of Kansas to add to their impressive line up of herd sires.
Lot 43: A red, homozygous polled 75 percent son of BABR Who Done It had many people calling and bidding on this high pecentage bull. He too landed at $8,500 with the winning bidder being David Graham from Ohio.
Lot 36: A black 38 percent bull sired by Tau Tuned In 55T was the next high seller at $8,000 going to Chad Solberg, Montana.
Lot 30: A homozygous black, homozygous polled son of 3G Easy Money with an over 1400-pound yearling weight brought $7,000 to Chad Solberg, Montana.
Lot 32: Another black son of 3G Easy Money with an over 1400-pound yearling weight brought $7,000 to Darin Godsey of Kansas.
