The Summit – IGS Youth Leadership Conference
JULY 2023 | PHOENIX, ARIZONA
The AGJA has teamed up with the American Junior Shorthorn Association, American Junior Simmental Association American Junior Chianina Association, and the North American Limousin Junior Association for The Summit, IGS Youth Leadership Conference. The Summit is open to all youth ages 14-22 in the beef industry but be sure to register soon, only 100 spots are available and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Early Bird Registration ($300) closes April 15. The last day to register for the event is May 31.
The Summit Conference is not only an opportunity for juniors to gain industry knowledge and leadership skills that can be used in the future, but it is also a place where juniors are able to create new friendships, experience a college campus and be exposed to current issues affecting the agriculture industry.

Scholarship Opportunities:
The American Gelbvieh Foundation (AGF) has been gracious enough to support the conference by offering two $500 scholarships. The Summit scholarships are designed to cover the registration fee to attend the conference. The scholarship will be set up as a reimbursement for the registration fee.
The Seedstock Plus Youth Leaders in Agriculture scholarship will be awarded to five individuals ages 14-22 that have been AGJA members for six months prior to Summit. There will be 1- $1,000 scholarship and 4-$500 scholarships awarded.
