With the significant market decrease over the last year, this annual bull sale posted a 30 percent decrease in the overall sale average compared to last year. It was a larger offering this year and relative to the current cattle market, was a successful sale. There were 136 registered buyers in addition to active bidding online. Bulls sold to 98 buyers in 16 states at a rapid pace with every bull through the ring selling to a new owner. Every bull selling had genomic enhanced EPDs, ultrasound data and 40 percent of the sale offering was feed efficiency tested. All bulls were backed by an industry leading culling criteria and customer service.

Lot 522 FWGR 39C. A Four Winds Gelbvieh Ranch bull that is a red, homozygous polled calving ease Balancer. Purchased by Jack McGinnis, MO for $6750.

Lot 484 DMI 52C. A Diamond Mill Iron Gelbvieh bull that is a red, homozygous polled Balancer bull with excellent EPD’s. Purchased by Max Page, KS for $6300.

Lot 663 BWF Brandywine Consul 5162C. A Brandywine Farms bull that is a red, homozygous polled purebred Gelbvieh that was the total package. Purchased by Harold Logan, AR for $6000.

Lot 642 GGRR Gilly’s Valsetter C574. A Gilly’s Gelbvieh bull that is a red, homozygous polled purebred Gelbvieh with excellent phenotype. Purchased by Larry Kendall, MO for $5750.

Lot 626 TMGC SB Alumni 16C of 2005Z. A Stuecken Brothers bull that is a homozygous black, homo polled purebred Gelbvieh herd sire prospect. Purchased by Chad Dunnavant, TN for $5700.

Lot 583 TMMW Mr. Nevada 72C. A Mulroy Farms bull that is a homo black, homozygous polled Balancer with exceptional spread between calving ease and growth. Purchased by Roger Hurst, AR for $5650.
