Sunshine and pleasant weather greeted customers and guests after two days of hurricane force winds across a three-state area causing wide-spread power outages. Several bids were handled via phone due to clean-up following the storm.

  • Top selling bull: $5,750, CJLL Nashville N2510, homozygous black purebred Gelbvieh son of Lazy TV Sam U451 sold to Golden Buckle Gelbvieh, Dwight and Christina Dockter of Medina, N.D.
  • 2nd high seller: $5,500, CJLL Newcastle N2539, a homozygous black Balancer son of DLW Headline 9000K sold to Darrel Terkildsen of Quinn, S.D. He was one of three bulls purchased by Terkildsen.
  • 3rd high seller: $5,100, CJLL Nigel N2540, a homozygous black Balancer out of DLW Headline 9000K sold to Jesse and Nastel Dean of Upton, Wyo.
  • Volume buyer: Spring Valley Ranch, Ned and Doris Westphal of Custer, S.D.
