LINCOLN, Neb. — The 2023 North American International Livestock Exposition Gelbvieh and Balancer® Junior Breeding Heifer Show was held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. Exhibitors had the pleasure of welcoming judge Ryan Johnson of Mitchell, South Dakota, to evaluate and sort through 18 junior breeding heifers.
Grand Champion Junior Breeding Female was BCFG Butlers Ms Kesha K549 ET owned by Bryalen Schaeffer of Hagerstown, Indiana. Born March 6, 2022, and sired by PVF Blacklist 7077, this female first earned the title of Champion Junior Yearling Female.
Reserve Grand Champion Junior Breeding Female was TGV T Bar S Ms 24 Karat 1167K ET owned by Ayven Moon of Ellensburg, Washington. Sired by SCC SCH 24 Karat 828 and born October 14, 2022, this female first earned the title of Grand Champion Senior Heifer Calf.
