The American Gelbvieh Junior Association (AGJA) is excited to join forces with the American Junior Shorthorn Association, American Junior Simmental Association, American Junior Chianina Association, and the North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) to host The Summit IGS Youth Leadership Conference. This biennial event provides an excellent opportunity for youth ages 14-22 who are passionate about the beef industry to gain valuable leadership skills and industry knowledge.

The Summit is a summer conference that offers participants a chance to develop leadership skills, build lasting friendships, and gain insights into current agricultural issues. The event provides a unique opportunity to learn from top industry leaders and experience agriculture in different regions of the United States.

The conference is open to all youth involved in agriculture—whether they are members of the Gelbvieh, Limousin, Simmental, Shorthorn, or Chianina breed associations, or simply anyone interested in the agricultural industry.

The Summit is a great way for Gelbvieh juniors to come together, learn, and enjoy a weekend outside of traditional show settings. The next event will be held in the summer of 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
