The inaugural online The Rockies to the Pacific Gelbvieh Female Sale was a success with 11 lots selling for an average of $2,146.The 4 bred females grossed $10,550 with an average of $2,638, and 7 open heifers grossed $13,050 with an average of $1,865.
The top selling bred female was GEMH 136E, a purebred Gelbvieh daughter of JNL Astro 2001B ET, born July 28, 2017 and bred to Firebird F33, GEMH was consigned by Emily Hopfer, H4 Ranch, Days Creek, Oregon and sold to HC Cattle, Columbus, Montana for $3,750.
The top selling open female was JLSC Furgie 924G, a Balancer born on February 7, 2019, sired by JLSL 6140D and consigned by Rafter C Reds, Clarkston, Washington. Buyer was Jim Dobson, Kaw City, Oklahoma.
