We would all like to thank our loyal customers, friends, and neighbors for their continued support these past 20 years! Sale day was unusually pleasant this year and we enjoyed a great turnout.
Lot 13 – JOB DANELL Choco 53B topped the sale at $14,000 full possession and half semen interest purchased by Doug Hille at Chimney Butte Ranch in Mandan, North Dakota. Choco is a homozygous polled, homozygous black purebred Gelbvieh son of JOB DANELL TD Chico Loco 28Y, brought to the sale by Danell Diamond Six.
Lot 45 – Purebred Angus M L Black Granite 4086, a son of Connealy Black Granite, consigned by Linhart Angus sold to local commercial cattleman Gary Jenni for $9,000.
Lot 2 – JOB DANELL Wilson 2B ET sold to local commercial cattleman Paul Jensen for $7,250. Wilson is a homozygous polled, homozygous black Gelbvieh/Angus Balancer son of AAR Ten X 7008 S A.
Lot 3 – JOB DANELL TD My Fortune 3B, a homozygous polled, homozygous black Purebred Gelbvieh brought to the sale by Teale Danell and sold to Ronnie Rogers at Rogers Valley Farm in Mendon, MO for $7,000 for full possession and half semen interest. My Fortune is a son of JOB DANELL Fortunate 47Y and MCFG TD Mya 210T, dam of JOB DANELL Chico Loco 28Y.
Lot 14 – JOB DANELL CD Rave 56B, a homozygous polled, homozygous black Gelbvieh/Angus Balancer brought to the sale by Chase and Jamie Danell, sold to Roger Reiter at Gilly’s Gelbvieh in Jewell, KS for $6,750. Rave is a son of AAR Ten X 7008 S A.
Lot 1 – JOB DANELL Super Bowl 1B, a homozygous polled, homozygous black Gelbvieh/Angus Balancer son of KHR 03Z sold to commercial cattleman Kyle Salveson for $6,750. Kyle was also the volume buyer of the day, buying five Balancer bulls.
Danell Diamond Six Ranch averaged $6,609 on 16 bulls.
New AGA members, Barry and Dena Bolton, of Bolton Double B Ranch in Hilger, Montana were very successful with the powerful set of bulls they consigned to the sale:
Lot 21 – BOLTON Happy Returns 22B, a homozygous polled, homozygous black Gelbvieh/Angus Balancer son of JOB DANELL Rascal 25Z sold to Wyoming commercial cattleman Wade Shuler for $5,750.
Lot 20 – BOLTON Kennedy 03B, a homozygous polled, homozygous black Gelbvieh/Angus Balancer son of JOB DANELL Fortunate 47Y sold to another Wyoming commercial cattleman, Richard Tass for $5,500.
Boltons averaged $5,000 on four bulls.
Linhart Angus averaged $5,286 on 14 bulls.
