Lincoln, Nebraska – The 2021 Northern American International Livestock Exposition Junior Gelbvieh & Balancer® Show was held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Louisville, Kentucky. Exhibitors welcomed judge Kyndal Reitzenstein of Fort Collins, Colorado. to evaluate and sort through 21 junior breeding females.
Grand champion Balancer female was VLK Drip Drop H027 owned by Jentry Johnson of Maquoketa, Iowa. This female was born March 11, 2020, and first earned the title of champion junior heifer and is sired by VLK Young Gun C503.
Reserve grand champion Balancer female was GHGF Two Step 200H, owned by Cody Clary of Cleveland, N.C. Sired by GHGF Fortune Teller E7, this female was born May 11, 2020, and first earned the title of champion intermediate heifer.
