Champions Selected at the 2023 American Royal Gelbvieh and Balancer® Junior Show

LINCOLN, Neb. – The 2023 American Royal Gelbvieh and Balancer® Junior Breeding Heifer Show was held on Monday, October 9, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri. Exhibitors had the pleasure of welcoming judge Tyler Bush of Britton, South Dakota, to evaluate and sort through 10 junior breeding heifers.

Grand Champion Junior Breeding Female was MDR Knock Out 203K owned by Corbin Lowe of Winfield, Kansas. Born March 3, 2022, and sired by MDR First Step 7549E, this female first earned the title of Champion Junior Yearling Female.

Reserve Grand Champion Junior Breeding Female was MDR Freedom 202K owned by Corbin Lowe of Winfield, Kansas. Sired by MDR First Round Pick 9824G ET and born February 14, 2022, this female first earned the title of Reserve Champion Junior Yearling Heifer.
