LINCOLN, Neb. – The 2024 Cattlemen’s Congress National Gelbvieh and Balancer® Bull and Female Show was held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Exhibitors had the pleasure of welcoming judge Blake Bloomberg of Secor, Illinois, to evaluate and sort through 24 Balancer bulls, 18 Gelbvieh bulls, 39 Gelbvieh females, and 69 Balancer females.
Grand Champion Balancer Bull was MDR Osage 2958K owned by Dobson Ranch of Kaw City, Oklahoma. Sired by MDR First Round Pick 9824G ET, and born February 13, 2022, this bull first earned the title of Champion Junior Yearling Bull.
